The joke's on my parents, because it turns out I can still draw really well with the tablet, maybe even better. There are basically no disadvantages in using a tablet over pencil and paper, and I have no idea why I haven't switched over earlier.

This time I really was trying to copy the style of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. It's a fun style that can make ferocious fanged faces look natural on tongues. I think I've learned a few things about shading recently from copying pages from that manga, though they're probably things that you artsy people already know and are keeping it a secret from me ( Read more... )
